The apartment is situated in Carrapateira, on the first floor of a holiday house with two separate apartments. The typical Portuguese village lies directly at the south-west coast of the Algarve. The charming white painted houses, the narrow streets and alleys, the “Plaza” as well as a variety of cafés and restaurants invite you to stay. In the village you also find a small supermarket, a butcher, a bakery store and a market place where you can buy fresh fish, as well as fruits and vegetables from the local farmers. The area is a natural reserve and offers a wide range of leisure time activities like cycling, hiking, horse riding (1 km) and a golf course (13 km). There are two great beaches nearby (1.5 km). The beaches “Praia do Amado” and “Praia da Bordeira” are fantastic places to relax from the stress and strains of the daily working life. The wide and clean beach of “Amado” with its white sand is very famous for surfing because of excellent conditions. There are several surf schools to do a trial yourself.
